Wendy Bromley – Manager
Wendy has over 20 years’ experience in public practice, and is a qualified Chartered Accountant.
Prior to joining Montague Partners in February 2019, she worked for a mid-tier firm in New Zealand as a manager, where she had extensive knowledge in the New Zealand Tax System and a number of different industries – especially farming, retail and hospitality, ranging in different business sizes and structures.
During her time at Montagues she has gained a wide knowledge in the Australian Tax System and other industries including the Horse Racing Industry. This is also joined with her love and background in Information Technology.
When she’s not travelling from Mandurah and working, she loves to spend time with her family which includes her husband and two young girls. One of their favourite things to do is camping.
Don’t mind the fact that she’s a Kiwi, she’s not that bad.
Les Edwards – Manager
Les has over 18 years experience in the accounting industry. He has been a member of CAANZ for over 12 years.
Prior to joining Montague Partners he had worked at another mid-tier firm in Perth and has extensive experience dealing with myriad industries including the racing industry, travel, hospitality, medicine, retail and construction and enjoys applying his tax knowledge to help achieve the best results for his clients.
Outside of work Les is an avid traveller having visited over 50 countries and counting, he is also an enthusiastic but terrible golfer and a total sports fanatic willing to give anything a go or watch.
Heinrich Schonfeldt – Graduate Accountant
Heinrich joins Montague Partners as a Graduate Accountant, bringing fresh energy and enthusiasm to the team. Having recently completed his Bachelor’s degree, he is now undertaking his CA ANZ training and is well on his way to becoming a fully qualified Chartered Accountant.
While still early in his career, Heinrich is eager to develop his skills across a broad range of clients and industries, with a particular interest in applying his knowledge to deliver real, meaningful outcomes for the people he works with.
Outside of work, Heinrich is a passionate cricketer and golfer — though by his own admission, the golf game is still a work in progress.
Never one to sit still, he’s always keen to throw himself into a new sport or challenge. He also has a serious love of food, whether that’s hunting down new restaurants or attempting to recreate something ambitious in the kitchen.
Lachlan Bertram – Undergraduate Accountant
Lachlan joins Montague Partners as an Undergraduate Accountant. He is currently in his final year of study, completing a Bachelor’s degree with a double major in Commerce and Business Law.
At this early stage of his career, Lachlan is keen to continue developing his skills across a broad range of clients and industries. He is particularly interested in applying his knowledge to achieve practical and meaningful outcomes.
Outside of work, Lachlan is a dedicated basketball player and golfer. He currently plays professional basketball in the NBL1 and enjoys taking on new challenges. Lachlan also has a strong passion for food and cooking, particularly when it comes to preparing the perfect barbecue.
Lewis Montague – Reception
Lewis started at Montague Partners halfway through 2024. He is currently in his second year at Curtin University where he is studying a Bachelor of Accounting & Business Law.
Lewis previously worked as a chef for 10 years and has gradually made the transition to corporate employment post covid. He is a below average golfer that goes for a below average football team (Essendon).
Coco Montague
The most integral member of the office. Coco has ensured our staff remain vigilant, with regular office days. She also has never had a sick day in her life . If Coco isn’t reminding our staff to take their lunch break, nobody will as she is always hungry . She also tells everyone when its time to go home.
